 Soooo, I dunno if I said anything about it before, but at the beginning of the school year, I dropped my laptop off my bed and messed up some of the plastic framing/casing in it. Over winter break, I somehow managed to make a whole chunk of the top cover crack apart. Anyways, yesterday I shipped off my baby to some Dell tech center for them to fix it and it'll be gone for up to two weeks. I felt so sad giving away my laptop to a complete stranger  So what does this mean for you? Well...Absolutely no graphic updates for the next couple weeks.  I know, I know, I was actually doing kinda good with updating for a while (well, not really...), but sorry, I gotta get more poor little computer fixed! Anyways, just wanted to let everyone know what was up. Hopefully I'll get in a few more additions after I get my laptop back. Oh, and if you're wondering how I'm updating, I actually got a little netbook over Christmas, so yeah. No Photoshop, but still internet. :3 I think I'm actually tired of this layout already....Anyone wanna request a series I should use for my next one? |

Here We Go |
 So, as many of you are experiencing yourself, school has officially started again for me. I'm pretty dang excited about my classes though (programming in java, calculus 2, and foundations of game design), so that should help this quarter go by quickly. It feels like I've been back at school for weeks already when it's only been a little more than a day, haha. I've been feeling pretty home sick, too I really miss being with my family and boyfriend all the time, but the people I live with at school are really cool, so that helps me feel better. But the point is, you all know what school means....Most likely, there will be a lack of updates for the next few months. Right now I'm actually feeling pretty motivated to keep the updates coming, but I'm not gonna make any promises, haha.Anywaaaaays, I do have that new design I promised, plus a couple more additions to the site, too! So yeah, there's the design, which I am super proud of how it came out. I talk about it more in the description of the layout, but I had the .pdf for the file sitting around for forever before I finally finished it. Then with pretty much every update, I have a few icons for your, uh...icon-ing pleasure, haha  . And then I have -gasp!- a brand new wallpaper, too! I'm really proud of that one, too...I love the colors and how the whole set-up is. Coloring in manga scans is fun, too, haha  So I had more organizing in mind for Anime Rain, but I don't know when I'll get to it. I want to have the designs sorted more by features (i.e., you can look through all of them or through just the layouts that feature anime or stock photography or something like that), but that means a whole over-haul of the system right now, plus another sorting set-up and all that....Not too hard, really, just time-consuming. And I still want to work on making wordpress themes for you guys, but I want to find whatever script/code/method there is out there to let you guys see a working preview of it. If anyone has any ideas on that one, let me know! And finally, Thanks to everyone for all the comments on the new layout. I'm glad you guys like it so much! I hope you're not all going too crazy at school or work or whatever it is you're doing now that the holidays are over! |
