Welcome to Anime Rain! (redundant much?). Here you can find various (and free) anime- and game-based web graphics and design resources made by yours truly, Starfire. These graphics range from icons, to fully-coded layouts, to Photoshop brushes (and image stamps for you Paint Shop Pro users), and much more.  It's true! You can't kill me that easily!  Warning: There are no updates right now, and I'm about to go on a long rant/ramble/explanation/story type of thing. Just thought I'd give everyone a heads up. Anyways, here's the deal: I've lost a lot of interest in making anime themed graphics. I still love anime, and I still enjoy designing, I'm just not feeling putting them together anymore. On top of this, I've been trying to become better at digital painting and other clay-related things, so I think a lot of my creative energy is being used on those rather than designing. But what does this mean for Anime Rain? I'm not sure right now. It's still going to sit here and be neglected for a while (I'm so harsh) and I don't know if I'll have any other big changes for it in the future. I'll tell you right now that I actually have a few designed layouts sitting around that are waiting to be coded, so I'm not quite done here. Ultimately, I think my plan is that Anime Rain will eventually be completely done. I don't know what I'll do with the large chunk of graphics, but I'll deal with that later. I still plan on having a website (on a different domain), but it'll be a "personal" site...Y'know, the kind where it's a little bit of everything (portfolio, blog, random stuff). That'll happen later too. So that's that. Who knows, I may end up changing my mind and wanting to hold on to AR forever, but I didn't spend much time on it this summer, which I think is a sign. I just wanted to explain all that to everyone and show some sign of life. With that in mind, no, I am NOT closing Anime Rain right now. I'm making sure that's clear since that's not my plan at the moment.  Hope you're all having a wonderful summer! I'll be back on here in another few months probably with more news or updates or something. |

 Edit Soooo, I completely spaced and deleted the custom cutenews template I had.....Blah. Anyways, I'll fix it in a bit. I have to leave for class in less than an hour, so I dunno if I'll have it done before or after, but yeah, just letting you guys know why it all looks so retarded, haha.Guess who got their baby back.....Me!! -throws a mini party-  Well, technically I got it back on Friday....But....I hadn't made any new additions 'till today-ish, so yeah, I didn't want to update empty-handed! It didn't take too long for them to send my laptop back, too. They received it on Monday, and I got it back Friday with a shiney new (and not broken!) cover. I was very excited, to say the least. :3 So yes, I do have updates! I have two new icons that'll go under the stock category and a new layout that's made from the latest wallpaper, haha. You can have a matching set! While I'm introducing these cute little stock icons, I would like to take a moment to give some advertising space to my deviantART account as I have been snapping my camera away on a near-weekly basis as part of a "52 days project" (instead of the daunting task of a 365 project). Anyways, if you like photography, go check mine out and tell me what you think!  Oh, and thanks for everyone's "get better" wishes for my laptop! That probably helped them fix it so quickly! :3 |
